PLAID MS HAILS NEW MOBILE CARDIOVASCULAR SERVICE IN GWYNEDD
An outreach service to help cardiovascular patients across Dwyfor Meirionnydd and northwest Wales has been hailed by local MS, Mabon ap Gwynfor as an ingenious way of reaching hard to reach patients and cutting the waiting lists.

Senedd Member for Dwyfor Meirionnydd and party spokesperson for Health and Social Care, Mabon ap Gwynfor has warned that the NHS faces a bleak and uncertain future unless urgent and drastic action is taken to address the crisis in healthcare.
Recently the NHS marked 75 years since of its formation with waiting times at a record high. NHS staff have also been on strike over pay and working conditions – some for the first time – earlier this year, and staff morale is at an all-time low.
Plaid Cymru MP and MS help launch community shares campaign
Plaid Cymru MP for Dwyfor Meirionnydd, Liz Saville Roberts and Senedd Member, Mabon ap Gwynfor are backing a community share scheme to help secure the purchase of an iconic Pwllheli landmark for the benefit of the local community.
Menter Y Tŵr are looking to raise a minimum of £400,000 to buy, redevelop and re-open Y Tŵr as a hotel, pub, restaurant and community hub. Y Tŵr is centrally located on Pwllheli high street and once served as a bustling hotel hosting many social events.
The local community and general public are being encouraged to invest and buy shares in the scheme to secure the purchase of the building. By becoming a shareholder, every member will have a say in how the community enterprise is run.
