Superfast Broadband Petition

Superfast broadband (at least 25 mbps) is now one of life's essentials: for work, studying, receiving online services and leisure.

Unfortunately, Dwyfor Meirionnydd is amongst the worst served areas throughout the UK for superfast broadband.

If we are to strengthen the rural and coastal economy then we must have effective and comprehensive superfast broadband. Like water and electricity, superfast broadband is essential in this day and age.

We call on the Welsh and UK Governments to ensure that superfast broadband reaches every household and that no-one is left behind.

AND we are not asked to contribute extortionate price for the service. It is essential for our business. We are being disadvantaged. We are loosing business, and slow productivity because of lack of broadband. It is even more imperative for businesses where there is NO MOBILE reception, double whammy! Votes of non residents and visitors with post codes outside the areas should also have equal standing as it also affects them whilst visiting.

The region and language will simply die without good connectivity be it mobile or fixed. You can buy bottled water but you cannot buy bottled broadband
